Pivot turns

Find a line or place an object on the floor as a line marker. Step over the line shifting all your weight to the foot that has crossed over. Turn the free foot to point in the direction you want to go, you can shift your weight back and forth a few times to gradually turn the leading foot if needed. Once turned shift to the front leg and continue walking. Note that the back foot never crosses the line.
